U.S. Rep. Lee Terry has received the key endorsements of a leading job-creating organization as well as the nation’s premier second amendment rights group.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce recently endorsed Terry, saying his re-election to the House “will help produce sustained economic growth, help create new jobs, and get our country back on track.” The Chamber is the nation’s largest federation of businesses, with three million members.
In a letter to Terry, the U.S. Chamber stated: “Your record of support on pro-business issues earned this endorsement. At no other time in our nation’s history has it been more critical that Members of Congress provide leadership that protects and advances the interests of the business community.”In another key endorsement, Terry is being supported by the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund.
“Lee Terry is a steadfast supporter of freedom. He earned the NRA-PVF endorsement by standing up for our Second Amendment rights and hunting heritage,” the group stated in their announcement.
The National Rifle Association is the oldest sportsman’s organization in the country. Their focus is on upholding the Second Amendment and the right of citizens to own firearms. The NRA has four million members nationally.
